With more than 25 years in the telecom industry, Gary Bolton joined ADTRAN in 2008 as vice president of global marketing. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of marketing for the company worldwide as well as regulatory and government affairs. Bolton has been highly involved in Washington, influencing the FCC and congressional proceedings such as broadband stimulus, the National Broadband Plan and USF Reform. Prior to joining ADTRAN, Gary held executive management positions in a number of high tech start-ups as well as large publicly traded companies in marketing and product line management. He holds an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University.
Kurt Raaflaub serves as ADTRAN’s senior manager of carrier networks product marketing, and has more than 18 years’ experience in telecom. Prior to his current position within ADTRAN’s Carrier Networks Division, he owned global responsibility for directing ADTRAN’s Ethernet and optical solutions marketing activities. Some of these solutions include the delivery of business Ethernet services, LTE mobile backhaul and packet optical edge, middle-mile and metro networking. Additionally, Kurt has supported the market development and product management of the ADTRAN Carrier Ethernet solution suite which includes Ethernet service delivery over copper (EoCu), over TDM (EoTDM) or optical facilities (EoF) both point-to-point and ring-based (ERPS, SNCP). In 2006, he joined ADTRAN from Nortel where for over a decade, he held various roles focused on marketing/managing new disruptive market opportunities.
Ronan brings over 19 years’ experience in the telecom industry. With firsthand experience deploying next-generation optical and copper networks, IPTV platforms, and microwave radio networks, he holds an unusually broad understanding of the challenges faced by today’s operators, incumbent and competitive alike. Combining his long standing technical knowledge with his strong telecoms business understanding (operator, NREN and vendor), Ronan has assisted some of the world’s largest operators maximize their value proposition and achieve market success. For the past four years, Ronan has been dedicated to the development of ADTRAN as a global leader in the broadband access and transport arena, and continues in these efforts as we enter the exciting new era of SDN and NFV. He holds a MSc in Technology & Innovation Management and an MBA from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Ted Cole is vice president of channel sales for ADTRAN’s Enterprise Networks Division. In this role, he focuses on setting strategy and growing ADTRAN’s sales to small and medium businesses through National Service Providers, Value-Added Resellers and Distribution channels.
